Job summary

Signature Companies is seeking a Field Consultant to perform on-site surveys of high-value homes in Kanawha, Putnam, and Mason counties, WV. You will work from a home office and coordinate surveys around your own schedule while communicating findings to underwriters and homeowners.

The ideal candidate has underwriting or inspection experience and is self-motivated, with access to a reliable vehicle and the necessary tech (smartphone, tablet, PC).

Qualifications

• Experience in Insurance Adjusting, Home Appraisals, Real Estate or Construction is a plus.
• Experience using Rapid Sketch, Xactimate, CAD or other diagramming programs will be helpful.
• Must have smartphone, tablet, and personal computer.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct on-site high value property surveys.
• Visit properties, take photos and measurements, note issues for underwriter review.
• Generate estimated replacement value and identify major hazards.
• Communicate inspection findings via loss control portal and signatures.
