Job summary

Signature Companies is seeking a Field Consultant to independently manage on-site High Value Property Surveys across Southwest Virginia. This 1099 role fits an experienced inspector who can engage homeowners and agents professionally and deliver underwriter-ready reports.

You’ll document features, estimate replacement costs, and meet carrier guidelines while working in your local market with flexible scheduling and support from our Field Management team.

Qualifications

• Direct experience as a High Value Residential Insurance Inspector.
• Background in insurance inspections, loss control, underwriting support, or high-end home appraisals.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and custom features.
• Experience estimating replacement costs for high value residential properties.
• Proficiency with diagramming software such as Rapid Sketch, Xactimate, CAD or similar tools.
• Excellent communication skills when working with high-net-worth homeowners and insurance agents.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with homeowners, agents, and carriers by phone, email, and in person.
• Schedule and conduct on-site inspections of high value residential properties per carrier guidelines.
• Document custom construction features, finishes, and architectural elements accurately.
• Capture measurements, photos, and site observations for loss control reports.
• Submit timely, web-based reports that meet carrier requirements and Loss Control 360 standards.
