Job summary

BBA is expanding its US Independent Engineering team to support IPP and developers with technical reviews, lender reports, and due diligence for project financing and M&A. You will lead multidisciplinary reviews, coordinate via SMEs, and drive business development with existing and new clients.

The role requires 5–10 years in renewables, PE license presence or pursuit, and travel 10–20% domestically and internationally. Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in electrical, civil or mechanical engineering.
• Master’s degree or other post‑graduate degrees in engineering and/or business are a plus.
• PE status or intent to become PE; multi‑jurisdiction licensure preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in renewable energy (wind, solar, BESS, hydropower).
• Experience leading business development and proposal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and project delivery for independent engineering and due diligence.
• Coordinate with power and sector teams to deliver multi‑discipline reviews and reports.
• Lead client meetings and manage independent reviews for financing or M&A.
• Support cross‑selling of services and development of innovative technical differentiators.
