Job summary
BBA Consultants is seeking an Independent Engineering Consultant and Project Manager to grow its U.S.-based IE team, delivering independent engineering reviews, lender reports and due diligence for renewable energy assets. You will lead technical reviews, coordinate a multidisciplinary team, and support business development with IPP and developer clients.
Travel 10–20% domestically and internationally as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, civil or mechanical engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in renewable energy (wind, solar, BESS, hydropower).
- PE status or intent to become licensed; multi-jurisdiction preferred.
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and lead projects.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (10–20%).
- Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead independent engineering reviews and lender's technical advisor reports.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage project delivery to schedule and budget.
- Develop new client relationships and lead proposal development.
- Present findings to clients and lead meetings with stakeholders.
- Support business development and cross-selling of services.
