Job summary

N J Malin & Associates is seeking a skilled Dock & Door Service Technician to service industrial loading dock and door equipment at customer facilities. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining dock levelers, restraints, and related equipment in a field setting.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined with experience in industrial equipment or commercial doors, able to work independently and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing industrial equipment or similar mechanical systems.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting including hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform service calls to inspect, diagnose, and repair dock and door equipment at customer locations.
• Install and service dock levelers, doors, vehicle restraints and safety equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems; complete preventive maintenance.
• Document work with service reports and summaries; communicate findings to customers.
