Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors delivering health services to military service members. Roles emphasize weekend work and mobile/telemedicine delivery across various installations in the United States.

Active NP license is required with CPR/BLS, and travel to remote military installations may be involved. Prior experience in primary, urgent, or occupational health is preferred, with documentation of readiness classification in medical records.

Qualifications

Active NP license in the state.
CPR/BLS Certification required.
Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
Experience with mobile medical services preferred.
Knowledge of military systems and terminology preferred.
Willing to travel and work weekends.

Responsibilities

Support physical health assessments for military personnel.
Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
