Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors providing health readiness services to military service members in Kansas. Primary focus on weekend work with some weekday shifts as needed, supporting a mobile, fixed-clinic and telemedicine deployment model.

Responsibilities include conducting physical health assessments, reviewing records, interviewing service members, and documenting readiness in the medical record.

Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant license in Kansas.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in Primary Care or Occupational Health preferred.
• Ability to travel to remote military installations.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system.
