Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors providing health readiness services to U.S. military personnel. The role primarily covers weekends with occasional weekdays in Kansas on an as-needed basis.

You will assess readiness, review medical histories, interview service members, and document findings for deployable status across reserve and guard units. Travel to remote installations may be required.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in the state.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health is preferred.
• Ability to travel and work weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns including Behavioral Health.
• Document results for readiness classification in the service member's medical record.
