Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Physician Assistants to partner as independent contractors in the Kansas region to support military service members. Weekend work with some weekday coverage as needed, across various locations including remote military installations.

Responsibilities include health assessments, reviewing records, interviewing personnel, and documenting readiness classifications in our system. CPR/BLS and active PA license required; travel and extended hours may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in the state.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health - preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services - preferred.
• Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology - preferred.
• Able to work extended hours and travel to remote installations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support health assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, records, and questionnaires.
• Interview personnel to determine medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns including behavioral health.
• Document interview results in the medical record using a proprietary system.
