Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors servicing military service members in Mississippi. The position largely involves weekend work with occasional weekday coverage as needed.

You will review records, interview personnel, and document readiness classifications in our medical system. Required are an active PA license, CPR/BLS, and familiarity with primary, urgent, or occupational health care; military deployment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in Mississippi.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends.
• Ability to work in remote military installations.
• No diagnosis, treatment, or prescription duties required.

Responsibilities

• Support health assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record.
