Underwriter Services Association is seeking experienced Commercial Loss Control Consultants to visit insured locations across Utah and perform insurance inspections and consultative visits. Positions are 1099 independent contractor roles with flat rate per inspection or hourly pay, paid weekly after report submission.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational, and tech skills and own necessary equipment.

Formación

• Experience completing property and casualty loss control surveys and reports.
• A basic understanding of general liability and property coverage.
• Knowledge of commercial auto, workers' compensation and inland marine is helpful.
• Ability to work quickly to meet hard deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Ability to assess physical condition of a property.
• Prepare clear, concise reports with accuracy.
• Basic computer operation, typing and internet skills; system support available.
• Own a computer with Windows OS.
• Be a self-starter and motivated to stay on top of assignments.
• Follows directions, stays organized with a flexible schedule.
• Reliable car for wide territory; required equipment includes digital camera and internet.
• Measuring wheel or similar device; familiarity with Microsoft products.

Responsabilidades

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email or phone.
• Complete physical inspections of properties in assigned territory.
• Take digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls at the property.
• Conduct on-site management interviews as required.
• Upload reports/photos through cloud-based system.
• Complete any required online training courses.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and ethics.
• Follow safety and security procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed.
