Job summary

CCT Enterprises is seeking a CNC Milling Setup Machinist to lead independent setups, troubleshoot tooling and program issues, and ensure first‑piece quality on 2nd shift. You’ll read blueprints, set offsets, and support production with lean improvements.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years’ CNC setup experience, familiarity with Fanuc or Haas controls, and a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast‑paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years CNC mill setup experience with independent setup capability.
• Blueprint reading and precision measuring equipment proficiency.
• Tooling knowledge and offsets speeds & feeds mastery.
• Minor program editing skills and strong troubleshooting aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Run independent setups on CNC milling jobs with fixtures and probes.
• Interpret setup sheets and set tool lengths and offsets.
• Perform tool changes and minor edits; verify first piece before release.
• Monitor machine performance and address process issues to protect quality.
• Collaborate with operators and supervisors; assist training and continuous improvement.
