Job summary

The Comforted Kitty is seeking a reliable, caring part-time cat sitter to visit clients in the Raleigh, NC area. This is an independent contractor role with flexible hours and you set your availability and service area.

You will provide in-home visits, feed and water, clean litter, offer play and companionship, and send updates and photos through our app. Medication administration is only if within your experience.

Qualifications

• Cat care experience, especially in a pet sitting capacity.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Strong written communication.
• Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes.
• Smartphone with reliable internet & camera.
• Medication experience (oral, injections, fluids).
• Holiday & weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Cat sitting visits including feeding, water, litter box cleaning, playtime.
• Provide playtime or companionship.
• Send visit updates and photos via app.
• Follow clients' detailed care instructions.
• Deliver mail/packages when applicable.
• Adjust lights/blinds/trash as requested.
• Administer medication within your experience.
