Job summary

The Comforted Kitty in Carlsbad is seeking a reliable, in-home cat sitter to visit clients while they are away. This part-time independent contractor role lets you set your own schedule and service area, with flexible weekend and evening availability.

You will feed, refresh water, clean litter boxes, provide affection and play, send visit updates and photos via our app, and follow each client's care instructions. Prior cat care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experienced with cat care, especially in-home visits.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Strong written communication and ability to follow care instructions.
• Comfortable working independently in clients' homes.

Responsibilities

• Feed cats and refresh water.
• Clean litter boxes.
• Provide play, affection, or companionship based on each cat's personality.
• Send visit updates and photos through our app.
• Follow each client's care instructions.
• Manage mail or packages and adjust home settings as requested.
• Administer medication only within your experience.
