Job summary

The Comforted Kitty in Durham, NC is seeking a part-time cat sitter to perform in-home visits as an independent contractor. You set your availability and service area, matching with clients who need cat care while they travel.

Responsibilities include feeding, litter care, play and companionship, and sending updates/photos via the app. You may administer medications within your experience and follow detailed care instructions. Weekend and evening shifts are valuable.

Qualifications

• Must have cat-care experience, preferably in home-sitting.
• Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes.
• Smartphone with reliable internet and camera.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home cat sitting visits: feed, refresh water, and litter box care.
• Provide play, affection and companionship per each cat’s personality.
• Send visit updates and photos via the app.
• Follow each client’s care instructions; administer medications within your experience.
• Assist with mail/packages, adjust lights/blinds when requested.
