Job summary

Malama Health is expanding its doula provider network in Minnesota and seeks experienced birth doulas to support Medicaid members. You will operate as an independent contractor with Malama handling enrollment, credentialing, billing, and payments.

This 1099 role offers flexible, independent practice with compensation based on reimbursable doula services. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Qualifications

• Experienced birth doula practicing in Minnesota.
• Approved for Minnesota Doula Registry, or willing to complete registration.
• Willing to complete Minnesota Medicaid enrollment and credentialing requirements.
• Experience providing prenatal, labor, and postpartum support.
• Be a people person and team player; Be the Bridge.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-clinical prenatal, labor/birth, and postpartum doula support.
• Provide culturally responsive emotional, informational, and physical support.
• Maintain timely documentation of services.
• Follow privacy, documentation, quality, and payer requirements.
• Coordinate with Malama care team for services beyond doula scope.
