Job summary

Talbert-House is seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor - Independent to provide individual and group counseling at our Lebanon, OH location. The role requires licensure (LISW or LPCC) and a Master’s degree, with responsibilities including diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and family therapy.

The counselor will participate in interdisciplinary teams, maintain caseloads, and ensure compliant documentation. A clinical supervision role may be involved for interns and staff development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and LISW or LPCC license required.
• 3–5 years clinical counseling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling per license.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments within license scope.
• Maintain caseload and regular contact with clients.
• Provide family therapy and CBT.
• Prepare clinical reports and individualized service plans.
• May supervise interns and provide in-service training as assigned.
• Ensure documentation complies with regulations and standards.
• Complete required trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
