Job summary

A behavioral support organization is seeking a Behavioral Consultant to provide evidence-based support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This contracted role allows for flexibility in scheduling and requires a Master's degree in a relevant field, along with experience in conducting assessments. Responsibilities include developing support plans and training caregivers. Applicants must possess strong communication skills and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations.
• Consent to searches of the OIG and SAM databases.
• Access to electronic devices with internet access.

Responsibilities

• Complete Functional Behavior Assessments.
• Develop Behavior Support Plans in collaboration with families.
• Provide training to caregivers and team members.
• Monitor ongoing data and outcomes for clients.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

Ability to work independently

Experience working as a Behavioral Consultant

Familiarity with electronic health record systems

Familiarity with Google Workspace

Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security standards

Education

Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Social Work, or related field
