Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a mid-level engineer to own complex work in data/ML pipelines. You will act as a subject-matter expert, deliver high-quality code and tests, and coach teammates to improve engineering capability.

You will work with Python, SQL, Databricks, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) to build scalable data workflows while collaborating across teams to align with business goals and product delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required (quantitative or engineering discipline preferred); MS a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, ML engineering, or related field.
• Track record of independent delivery with evidence of enabling less experienced teammates.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of complex, loosely scoped problems with minimal guidance and independent judgement.
• Write well-tested code and pipeline designs; provide technical guidance to other engineers.
• Coach less experienced engineers and drive improvements in processes and team quality.
