Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an AI/Data Engineer in Princeton to design and maintain data pipelines, metadata enrichment, and platform integrations. You’ll work on a modern stack including Databricks, AWS, and OpenSearch to make enterprise data discoverable and actionable.

You’ll contribute to AI-powered retrieval and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver scalable data foundations across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information science, engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Proven production data pipelines experience and strong Python/SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python pipelines to pull metadata from data catalogs and publish to discovery platform.
• Tune search indexes and analytics to improve result relevance.
• Develop semantic knowledge layers with vector embeddings for RAG workflows.
• Integrate ontology/taxonomy changes into discovery platform to keep classifications current.
• Collaborate with data engineers, search engineers, and data scientists on data-driven features.
