Job summary

Baroco Corporation in Agawam, MA is seeking a Developmental Specialist to develop individualized skill-building and serve as Service/Case Manager for consumers. The role blends direct care, program development, and coordination of services in a client-centered, compliant environment.

You will assess needs, implement training plans, support ADLs, and document progress. A driver’s license and strong communication are required, with a preference for bachelor’s-level education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (per state regulations).
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Experience in human services or a related field required.
• Prior experience with case management and consumer reviews strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess consumer skill levels and identify areas for growth to develop individualized training programs (DHSPs/IPs).
• Serve as Service Manager/Case Manager for assigned consumers and coordinate IDT meetings and reviews.
• Provide transportation and assist with ADLs as needed; supervise skill-building programs.
• Maintain all required consumer records and ensure compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.
