• $18 hr
• Part-time schedule up to 24 hrs. week
• YOU MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY, including weekends, as this is required.

• Must be able to travel to Seattle, Washington for 9 consecutive days of training if selected for Alaska Airlines
• Shift: Open Availability

Key Responsibilities

• Assist passengers with check-ins, verification, gate information, baggage claims, and other passenger issues at the airport
• Interpret identification labels along with baggage and cargo routing tags
• Host self-service kiosks
• Ensure all work areas are organized
• Maintain a positive attitude while offering assistance
• Ensure safe and secure operations
• Be comfortable lifting/moving up to 70lbs of cargo and baggage
• Perform bending, stretching, pushing, and pulling as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
• Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods at the ticket counter and gate check-in areas
• Must pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal
• Availability and flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Prior customer service experience is strongly preferred
• Intermediate computer skills required
• Ability to learn quickly and understand oral and written instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships
