Description

• $18/hr
• Part-time schedule up to 24 hrs. per week
• YOU MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY, including weekends, this is required.
• Flight benefits with Alaska Airlines
• Uniforms Provided
• Must be able to travel to Seattle, Washington for 9 consecutive days of training if selected for Alaska Airlines
• Shift: 3:30am-7:30am

Key Responsibilities

• Assist passengers with check-ins, verification, gate information, baggage claims, and other passenger issues in the airport
• Interpret identification labels along with baggage and cargo routing tags
• Host self-service kiosks
• Ensure all work areas are organized
• Maintain a positive attitude while assisting passengers
• Ensure safe and secure operations
• Be comfortable lifting/moving up to 70lbs of cargo and baggage
• Perform bending, stretching, pushing, and pulling tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Pass pre-employment drug screening
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Ability to lift 70lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods at ticket counters and gate check-in areas
• Pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal
• Flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Prior customer service experience strongly preferred
• Intermediate computer skills required
• Quick learner with ability to understand and follow instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to build relationships
