Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Income Auditor for the Barton Creek Resort & Spa to ensure accurate nightly auditing and proper posting of all sales and allowances. You will balance multiple ledgers and collaborate with night audit and outlets on postings.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent, strong computer skills, and prior accounting or hotel experience is preferred. Monday–Friday shift and solid communication abilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Equivalent.
• Must have excellent computer skills.
• Must be able to work a Monday- Friday shift.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Prior accounting or hotel experience preferred.
• Must understand balance sheets and revenue vs expense accounts.
• Must have working knowledge of general ledger and chart of accounts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze all daily night audit work for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify allowances and miscellaneous postings for proper authorization and coding.
• Post the daily sales journals to the general ledger.
• Investigate discrepancies and develop procedures to eliminate them.
• Communicate with night audit and outlets about postings affecting sales journals.
• Balance city, guest and deposit ledgers.
• Balance room package and hotel guest charges.
• Balance credit card accounts for full payment of submitted items.
• Balance AP charges on a monthly basis.
• Maintain working knowledge of property management and POS systems.
