Job summary

Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort is seeking an Income Auditor to oversee auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support guest service and profitability. You will review revenue data, verify reports, and maintain records with strong internal controls.

Description

The Kingston Resorts is a 145 acre oceanfront resort on the north-end of Myrtle Beach. Less than 2 miles from Tanger Outlets and a short 20 minute trip to Broadway at the Beach. As Income Auditor, you would be responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Responsible for reviewing, verifying and reporting revenue data to ensure accuracy, compliance and proper financial record-keeping. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities:

*Revenue Verification: Review and reconcile income reports from various departments to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies (best practices include daily revenue journal preparation).

*Data Entry and Reporting: Enter financial data into accounting systems, generate reports, and maintain transaction records for hospitality and corporate environments.

*Internal Controls: Assess and monitor internal controls, identify discrepancies, and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.

*Collaboration: Communicate with department heads and management regarding variances, exceptions, and revenue trends to support operational decision-making.

*Customer and Regulatory Support: Respond to inquiries regarding financial records, W-2G forms, or other accounting-related questions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

*Audit Assistance: Assist senior accountants or auditors in evaluating procedures, reconciling accounts, and preparing for internal or external audits .

*Audit, post and balance daily cashier's work for outlets including, but not limited to outlets, Rooms and Food & Beverage.

*Ensure Credit card system reconciles to daily transaction lists

*Schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members

*Monitor, observe and assist in evaluate team member performance

Qualifications:

*Must be able to work Monday - Friday 8-5

*Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Income Auditor or accounting coordinator, at a hotel

*Cash handling and credit experience

*Must possess the ability to post and balance large amounts of charges efficiently and accurately

*Knowledge of accounting operations to include all aspects, such as, accounts, receivable, payroll, etc.

This is a full-time, year-roundposition working at Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort. M-F 8am-5pm shift schedule is required, including weekends and holidays.
