Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach is seeking an Income Auditor to oversee auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions across hotel outlets. You will review revenue data, ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance, and support management with variances and trends.

The role requires at least 2 years in hotel accounting/auditing, cash handling and credit experience. This full-time position offers benefits including PTO, health plans, 401(k) and more.

Qualificações

• Must be able to work Monday - Friday 8-5.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as Income Auditor or accounting coordinator at a hotel.
• Cash handling and credit experience.
• Knowledge of accounting operations including accounts, receivable, payroll, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Review and reconcile income reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Enter financial data into accounting systems, generate reports, and maintain transaction records.
• Assess and monitor internal controls, identify discrepancies, and document transactions.
• Communicate variances and revenue trends to department heads to support decisions.
• Respond to inquiries about financial records and forms, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Assist senior accountants or auditors in evaluating procedures and reconciling accounts.
• Audit, post and balance daily cashier transactions for outlets.
• Ensure the credit card system reconciles with daily transaction lists.
• Schedule and assign daily work; train team members.
• Monitor team performance and provide guidance.
