Job summary

The Arc of Madison County, Inc in Alabama is seeking a Transition Specialist/Job Coach to deliver Pre-ETS sessions, travel to schools, and support individuals with disabilities toward competitive employment. You will collaborate with staff and community partners to ensure successful outcomes.

You will work with the Program Coordinator, teachers, and other Transition Specialists, maintain funding documentation, and participate in IEP/PCP meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of experience in day habilitation or residential program.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Pre ETS sessions for school students with disabilities.
• Travel to assigned schools to provide Pre ETS training.
• Utilize virtual support services as warranted to provide services.
• Prepare accurate and timely documents to meet funding source requirements.
• Collaborate with Program Coordinator, QDDP, teachers, and other Transition Specialists.
• Attend IEP and/or PCP meetings as needed.
