Job summary

The Arc of Chester County is seeking a dedicated preschool teacher to implement IEP goals and readiness skill goals in an inclusive setting. You will design activities that promote development across cognitive, language, fine and gross motor, social-emotional and self-help areas.

Qualifications

• Certification in CPR & First Aid.
• PA Certification in Special Ed and Early Childhood Ed. is required.
• Ability to lift and position children up to 50 lbs.
• Physician’s certification of good health.
• Background checks and clearance paid for by The Arc.

Responsibilities

• Implementing IEP goals and readiness skill goals in an inclusive preschool setting.
• Designing activities that promote development across cognitive, language, fine motor, gross motor, social/emotional and self-help areas.
• Maintaining a creative, loving and therapeutic environment for the children in our inclusive preschool.
