Job summary

Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania is looking for a passionate Special Education Teacher at our Approved Private School (APS) preschool program in Lansdale. This individual will lead the classroom team and ensure a nurturing and inclusive environment while developing and managing IEPs in line with state and federal regulations.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Special Education and possess a Pennsylvania teaching certification. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as experience with preschool special education.

Qualifications

• Experience with preschool or early childhood special education preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of IEP compliance and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom team to ensure lesson plans are implemented.
• Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor and document progress toward IEP goals.
• Design and deliver engaging lesson plans.
• Collaborate with service providers for integrated support.
• Communicate with families about student progress.
• Support students’ personal care and developmental needs.
