Job summary

Hurld-Wyman Elementary School in Woburn is seeking a Paraprofessional to support students with disabilities in general and special education settings. The role involves implementing programs aligned with individual IEPs, assisting with ABA supports, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote inclusive learning.

The position requires a High School diploma with preferred AA/BA, Safety Care certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Safety Care certification or ability to become certified.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Calm and neutral demeanor in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students across all environments.
• Support students academically, emotionally, behaviorally, and with ADLs.
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBA, and related service providers.
• Collect data on student learning and behavior goals as needed.
• Maintain records per SPED team requirements.
• Facilitate inclusion in general education classrooms.
