Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; higher degree preferred
• Safety Care certification or ability to obtain it
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred
• Initiative and ability to work independently
• Ability to de-escalate challenging behaviors
• Strong oral and written communication
• Support students in academics, social skills, and ADLs

Responsibilities

• Supervise students across multiple environments
• Support learning academically, emotionally, behaviorally, socially, and in ADLs
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBA, and related services
• Collect data on learning and behavior goals as needed
• Facilitate inclusion in general education classrooms
• Maintain records and assist SPED team with procedures
• Engage in ongoing communication with SPED team and staff
• Assist teachers with other duties as needed
