Hurld-Wyman Elementary School in Woburn, MA is seeking a SPED RISE II Teacher for 4th/5th grade. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Current Massachusetts DESE Certification in Moderate Disabilities.
  • Dual certified special educator and BCBA desired but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Provide instruction in both Special Education and General Education settings.
  • Run Discrete Trial Training programs under BCBA supervision.
  • Develop and monitor behavior support plans and reinforcement systems.
  • Write IEPs and progress notes with data collection across the year.
  • Plan MCAS Alternative Assessment Portfolios as needed.
