Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Master's Degree in an appropriate instructional area (e.g., special education, literacy) preferred.
• Teaching certification not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students enrolled in classes, including activities and study hall.
• Teach six classes (five academic + one non-academic) and lunch with a designated group Monday-Thursday.
• Perform informal diagnostic assessments and work with Educational Advisors to set academic/affective goals.
• Plan daily lessons using best practices for children with learning disabilities with multisensory methods.
• Help students develop problem-solving, risk-taking, social, and self-regulation skills.
• Attend meetings to assess progress and set goals with the educational team; participate in PPT & CSE meetings.
