Job description

Step into a rewarding teaching opportunity supporting middle school students as a Multi-Language/English Language Learner (ELL) Teacher. This contract position offers a dynamic classroom experience, working with diverse learners to foster English language acquisition and academic success. With an immediate start and a schedule of three days per week (21 hours weekly), youll provide crucial support to students through the end of the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut state teaching certificate
• TESOL or bilingual education endorsement
• Completed education, preparation, and exam mandates for endorsed teaching
• Experience in general education and supporting English language learners welcomed
• Strong commitment to equity, cultural responsiveness, and student achievement
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with students, families, and staff
• Passion for making a meaningful impact in a multicultural environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to multilingual learners in a middle school setting
