Job summary

Fort Worth ISD seeks a Coordinator IV, Inclusion and Specialized Learning to lead the implementation of inclusive instructional practices district-wide, ensuring access to grade-level curriculum and HQIM within Tier 1 settings in line with the FWISD Instructional Framework.

The role provides real-time coaching to general and specialized teachers, supports campuses with co-teaching models and embedded supports, and uses data to drive action plans to improve outcomes for students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching or providing direct instructional services to students with disabilities.
• Experience implementing inclusive instructional practices that support access to grade-level curriculum for students with disabilities.
• Experience providing coaching, professional learning, or instructional support to teachers in inclusive settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the implementation of inclusive instructional practices aligned to district priorities, ensuring students with disabilities have access to grade-level curriculum and specially designed instruction in Tier 1 settings.
• Collaborates with campus administrators to establish inclusive service delivery models (co-teaching, embedded supports, supplementary aids and services).
• Provides real-time, in-class coaching and technical assistance to teachers to strengthen specially designed instruction aligned to the FWISD Instructional Framework.
• Monitors HQIM implementation within inclusive classrooms to ensure instructional coherence across settings.
• Analyzes student achievement data and progress monitoring to evaluate instructional effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
• Prepares reports and updates to leadership on program implementation, instructional trends and areas for improvement.

Education

Bachelor's degree

Master's degree in Education or related field
