Job summary

Davenport Community Schools is seeking an Inclusion Coach to lead inclusive practices for students with disabilities district-wide. The role focuses on coaching adults and systems to deliver equitable, student-centered outcomes within MTSS and specialized programs.

Responsibilities include supporting classroom integration, co-teaching, data-informed decision making, and coordinating with IEP teams to ensure FAPE in the LRE.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the field of special education.
• Proven leadership experience coaching adult learners and systems on special education topics.
• Commitment to equitable and inclusive service delivery.
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction, MTSS, and assistive technology.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with staff, students, and families.

Responsibilities

• Support MTSS and special education priorities to ensure students with disabilities are integrated into general education.
• Coach teachers and teams to improve instructional practices and student outcomes.
• Support collaborative models and co-teaching to access core standards.
• Provide strategies to support active learning in general education settings.
• Fade support to paraprofessionals to promote student independence.
• Monitor progress data and advise on class and program schedules to support IEP teams.
