The ideal candidate holds Massachusetts DESE certification (8–12) and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics, with a preferred Master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Massachusetts DESE certification (8–12) required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with high school students with intensive needs.
• Experience implementing differentiated, standards-aligned math instruction.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging, individualized math lessons for grades 9–12 aligned with state standards and IEP goals.
• Differentiate instruction using accommodations and modifications.
• Collaborate with special educators, paraprofessionals, clinicians, and related service providers.
• Maintain thorough documentation and communicate student progress with families and team members.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment and integrate behavioral supports into instruction.
• Provide supervision and support for paraprofessionals as needed.
• Participate in professional development and SEEM’s professional learning community.
