The ideal candidate will have MA DESE Mathematics 9-12 certification, a strong pedagogy rooted in UDL and SEL practices, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement. This is a full-time, 183-day position with salary per contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required with MA DESE Math 9-12 certification.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Massachusetts DESE certification 9-12 in Mathematics is required.
• SEI Endorsement desired or required.
• Strong content-area knowledge and understanding of adolescent development.
• Experience with diverse public school settings and English learners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates long- and short-term planning for classroom instruction.
• Holds high expectations and facilitates student learning.
• Uses varied teaching techniques and technology to maximize learning for all students.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborates with staff to support diverse learners and equity goals.
• Maintains an organized, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
