Job summary

Albertina Kerr is seeking an Employment Consultant to facilitate inclusive employment for individuals with diverse abilities. You will carry a caseload, provide career assessments, and job readiness training while educating employers on inclusive hiring practices.

The role requires travel between work sites in Salem, Keizer, Woodburn, Silverton, and Sublimity, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of job coaching experience and 1 year with individuals with disabilities.
• CESP certification is preferred or APSE/ACRE training.
• Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or Special Education.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with local businesses to identify job opportunities for individuals.
• Educate employers on inclusive hiring practices and ADA accommodations.
• Guide individuals through job preparation activities such as resume writing and interview practice.
• Deliver Discovery/Career Exploration services and develop vocational profiles.
• Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate with support teams for person-centered services.
