Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of job coaching experience and 1 year working with individuals with disabilities.
  • For alternative qualifications, hold a CESP certification, APSE training, or ACRE certificate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or Special Education required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Drive/transportation requirements including driver's license and no more than two driving infractions in the last two years.

What You’ll Do
Community Networking and Workforce Evaluations
  • Build relationships with local businesses to identify job opportunities for individuals, with or without ADA accommodations.
  • Educate employers on the benefits of a diverse workforce and promote inclusive hiring practices.

Case Management
  • Guide individuals through job preparation activities like resume writing, interview practice, and transportation planning.
  • Deliver Discovery/Career Exploration services and develop vocational profiles.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with support teams to ensure consistent, person-centered services.

QualificationsQualifications
  • Minimum 6 months of job coaching experience AND 1 year working with individuals with disabilities
  • OR one of the following:
  • Certified Employment Supported Professional (CESP) certification
  • Completion of the Association of People Supporting Employment First (APSE) collaborative training
  • Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) training certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or Special Education
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support individuals.
  • Open to working with all individuals regardless of gender identity, sexuality, race, or religion.
  • Proficiency in software applications and tracking systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams), virtual meeting platforms, and online training modules.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address challenges, resolve conflicts, and de-escalate situations effectively.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to engage authentically with clients, employers, and team members.
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure accurate of work products.
  • Physical ability to assist in lifting, repositioning, or transferring of individuals using wheelchairs; occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds and frequently lifting of up to 25 pounds; frequent bending and stooping. Work environments vary depending on job sites.
  • Ability to meet background check, reference, and organization’s driving requirements of having a current and valid driver’s license and no more than two driving infractions in the last two years.
