Job summary

PRIDE Industries is seeking an Employment Coach to provide tailored coaching for people with disabilities, ensuring access, success, and retention in competitive employment. The role emphasizes individualized support, skill-building, and collaboration with service providers to meet goals.

Responsibilities include coaching on essential functions, developing workplace competencies, and managing case files. This position is based in a hybrid environment with a focus on inclusive employment

Qualifications

Intermediate computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing, database, and presentation software.
Ability to communicate effectively including listening, verbal, written, and presentation software.
Demonstrate ability to apply critical thinking to identify solutions to problems.
Demonstrate basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to manage competing priorities and exercise flexibility.
Experience working with adults with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

Coach and train the necessary skills to be successful in the workplace.
Coach and train with learning and performing the essential functions of job tasks.
Develop and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with service providers to communicate progress towards goal(s).
Assist in maintaining case files and related paperwork as required by PRIDE Industries and supporting agencies.
Perform duties and special projects as assigned.
