Job summary

Middleborough Public Schools’ Mary K. Goode Elementary seeks a Special Education (Partial Inclusion) Teacher to provide high-quality, multi-sensory instruction in inclusive and self-contained settings.

Immediate start; salary range 56,641–107,414 annually. The role requires MA Licensure in Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8) or Severe Disabilities, SEI endorsement, and experience with IEPs, progress reporting, and collaborative planning with staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• MA Licensure as Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8) OR Teacher of Students with Severe Disabilities (All Levels).
• SEI endorsement.
• Knowledge of MA Curriculum Frameworks and state frameworks integration.
• Structured reading methodology knowledge preferred.
• Experience with differentiated instruction in inclusive and self-contained settings, with classroom management skills.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and adapt direct academic and specially designed instruction across content areas using multi-sensory teaching with differentiated strategies.
• Collaborate with grade level teachers and specialists to provide comprehensive services.
• Promote data-based decision making to guide instruction and lesson planning.
• Manage IEPs, progress reports, annual reviews, and Team communications.
• Supervise paraprofessionals and coordinate schedules to meet IEP requirements.
• Familiarity with MCAS Alternate Assessment.
• Perform other duties as reasonably required.
