University of Oregon is seeking Access Advisors to support students with disabilities. You will advise, coordinate accommodations, and collaborate with faculty and staff to foster an inclusive campus environment.

The role emphasizes proactive advising, interdisciplinary teamwork, and adherence to federal accessibility standards, providing guidance and resources to diverse student populations in a busy on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with two years of advising or counseling in education, counseling, social work/behavioral support, or a college/university environment.
• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, higher education, or related field; and experience advising, counseling, teaching, or working with young adults with disabilities.
• Experience advising, counseling, teaching, or working with young adults with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide advising and accommodation guidance to students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with instructors and campus entities to ensure accommodations and universal design.
• Deliver presentations to students, parents, and university employees.
• Work in a fast-paced office delivering advising support year-round.
