Job summary

The University of Oregon seeks Access Advisors to support students with disabilities through proactive advising, collaborations with faculty, and accommodation coordination. This on-site role reports to the Accessible Education Center Assistant Director.

You will work with diverse students, manage cases, deliver presentations, and contribute to universal design initiatives while upholding federal law and university policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of advising or counseling in education, counseling, social work/behavioral support, or college/university environment.
• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, higher education, or related field.
• Experience advising, counseling, teaching, or working with young adults with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide advising and accommodation guidance to students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with instructors and campus entities to ensure accommodations and universal design.
• Deliver presentations to students, parents, and university employees; participate in projects.
