Job summary

Falmouth Public Schools Morse Pond School in Falmouth, Massachusetts, seeks a Teaching Assistant (Inclusion) for the 2026-2027 school year. This 32.5-hour position supports students with special needs in small groups or one-to-one, under teacher supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and a willingness to engage in behavioral training. Safety Care training is preferred. Starting date is To Be Determined; salary follows the FEA Unit C contract.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Ability and desire to work with children with Special Needs.
• Ability to take direction from and work under the supervision of one or more teachers.
• Safety Care training preferred or willing to train.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Work in small group and/or one-to-one with students as assigned by the teacher.
• Willingness to be trained in specific behavioral techniques.
• Attend in-service training sessions pertaining to special education.
• Work with and support students and teachers in classrooms.
• Perform such other tasks as assigned by the classroom teacher and/or Principal/Special Education Building Administrator.
