Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work with teachers, support staff and parents to support students.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support student(s) with or without disabilities.
• Support classroom teacher with academic/social/behavioral needs.
• Ensure student safety across all settings of the school day.
• Use instructional strategies and technology to increase student learning.
• Attend meetings and participate in district policy activities.
• Maintain records and contribute to professional development as required.
• Support classroom rules and maintain order in the classroom.
• Communicate with students, colleagues and parents about progress.
