Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Equivalent education or experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students individually or in groups.
• Supervise students during recess, lunch, field trips, and classwork.
• Cover classrooms during the teacher's absence as needed.
• Prepare and organize worksheets and materials; assist with cleanup.
• Maintain attendance, files, and grading records.
• Support students with makeup work and tasks as directed.
• Collaborate with therapists and specialists for holistic support.
• Record behavioral concerns and incidents per policy.
• Administer basic first aid and assist mobility and safety needs.
• Assist substitutes and handle routine correspondence.
