Job description

Join our dynamic team as a Vice President, Inclusion Specialist, and take a strategic leadership role in shaping the future of Inclusion at Macquarie Asset Management.

This is an exciting opportunity for an empathetic leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves continuous learning, and has a proven track record of embedding Inclusion principles across all processes, from talent acquisition to creating inclusive physical spaces.

In this pivotal role, you will support Macquarie Asset Management's Global Head and Americas' Head of Inclusion in driving the development, execution, and continuous improvement of our Inclusion strategy. Your work will ensure alignment with regional and business strategies, regulatory mandates, and specific focus areas. You will play a crucial role in embedding Inclusion principles across our organization through comprehensive learning programs, effective governance of employee network groups, and embedding into our talent initiatives.

We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you're empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.

What role will you play?

Partnering with the Head of Inclusion, you will spearhead the development, execution, and annual refresh of our Inclusion Strategy and Roadmap. You will ensure alignment of Inclusion initiatives with regional and business strategies, regulatory mandates, and specific focus areas, while owning the delivery and execution of Inclusion initiatives and securing leadership buy-in.

Drawing on learning needs assessments, you will create bespoke content for inclusive training programmes, including recruiting training. You will craft and deliver training programmes that embed an inclusive lens across all regional learning and ensure Inclusion principles are incorporated throughout all training efforts.

Through the governance and management of employee network groups, you will refresh governance frameworks, set goals, provide advisory support, manage budgets, and guide their strategic direction and creation. You will advise on opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of employee network groups, oversee the production of regional communications, and address Inclusion concerns as a visible advocate and adviser.

Working across talent initiatives, you will partner in designing and implementing strategies that seamlessly embed Inclusion into talent acquisition, development, and retention processes. You will conduct fairness checks, review policies, and develop inclusive recruiting strategies that foster a diverse and inclusive workforce.

What you offer
  • Proven Leadership: Proven experience in Inclusion leadership and strategy execution.
  • Inclusion Expertise: Strong understanding of Inclusion principles and their application in a corporate setting.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with executive committees, management forums, and various business leaders.
  • Training Excellence: Experience in designing and delivering comprehensive learning and training programs.
  • Budget Management: Ability to manage budgets and provide strategic direction for employee network groups.
  • Process Embedding: Demonstrated ability to embed Inclusion principles in talent acquisition, development, and retention processes.
  • Strategic Thinker: This role requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can work collaboratively across various levels of the organization.
  • Passionate Leader: The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving Inclusion initiatives and creating an inclusive workplace culture.

  • 20 weeks' paid parental leave for primary caregivers along with 12 days of paid transition leave upon return to work and 6 weeks' paid leave for secondary caregivers
