Job summary

Macquarie in Houston is seeking a People and Culture onboarding specialist to ensure new starters are ready from day one and enjoy a seamless experience. You will help prepare global employment contracts, coordinate with the recruitment team and candidates, and maintain HR systems while handling inquiries via email and phone.

Your role spans collaboration with data management, payroll, and People and Culture teams to deliver a smooth onboarding journey across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to manage high volumes, juggle priorities and meet deadlines with quality output.
  • Strong stakeholder and customer focus with relationship-building experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail; able to work independently.
  • Adaptable with quick learning and proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR onboarding processes.

What role will you play?

Your responsibilities will involve onboarding tasks such as preparing and issuing global employment contracts, coordinating with the recruitment team and candidates to facilitate the onboarding process, maintaining human resources systems, and responding to inquiries through email and phone. Additionally, you will collaborate with teams across data management, payroll, People and Culture and more.

  • A bachelor’s degree or 2 years of relevant experience

  • Proven ability to manage high volumes, juggle multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output

  • Strong stakeholder and customer focus, with a track record of building relationships and managing expectations

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with strong attention to detail; able to work independently and escalating issues clearly

  • Adaptable and quick to learn, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience in HR onboarding and process improvement initiatives
