PUC Community Charter Early College High School in Sylmar, CA is hiring an Inclusion Assistant to support students with IEPs in inclusive classrooms. Under the Inclusion Specialist, you will provide direct support, assist with accommodations, and help with assessments and program reviews to promote academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.

You will build relationships with students and staff, collect behavior data, and assist with daily functional skills as needed.

Qualificações

• Must complete 12 semester units and/or 18 quarter units and be currently enrolled for the same units or possess a BA/BS degree required
• Prior experience working with students with special needs in a learning environment

Responsabilidades

• Support Inclusion Team in providing services per IEPs and RSP in inclusive classrooms
• Provide direct student support individually or in small groups
• Assist with testing, classwork and homework, and data collection
• Assist with maintaining student files, schedules, and program reviews
• Support certificated staff in lessons and classroom activities
• Promote positive behavior and de-escalation
• Record and track supports in system weekly
• Attend required trainings and communicate with families
